About AM Lounsbury
Years of travel, too many undergraduate degrees, and a passion for history have influenced AM Lounsbury to research, write, and educate when and where she can.
Ashley (for that is her first name) grew up on an Air Force Base before being thrown into the civilian world in Arizona. Her first love was historic fashion and costuming which led her to attended FiDM for a degree in Fashion Design. There she discovered her love lay more in academic courses and shifted her focus to Anthropology, French, and History at Arizona State University.
After graduating with several bachelors degrees she was offered the chance to pursue something she had been wanting to do for most of her life: traveling around the country performing and vending at Renaissance Festivals. After over a decade of traveling, dancing, accordion playing, and jewelry making, she finally sat down to write her first novel. It is still a work in progress, which you can read about here.
This website is her outlet to research and write about all she finds fascinating in the world; which is a lot so be prepared to learn something new.
